What motivates you to write storygames? on 3/18/2013 1:00:19 PM
As part of an, ahem... personal psychological study, I was wondering why do you write storygames in first place, I mean something more complex than "because I like to", thanks :)
How can I change the order of the pages? on 3/13/2013 11:01:13 AM

You can pass if you did choose... on 3/13/2013 10:52:58 AM
Really? Doesn't it make games unnecessarily confusing? Well, maybe that's the easiest way to do it...
Wait, can you put items in the player automatically without him noticing? That may make the whole thing easier (you know, like "I crossed the point zero bridge" item).
Thanks again :D
Can you disable the "go back" button? on 3/13/2013 10:49:33 AM
I mean, having that ability may be great for some games (specially in those in which you can die easily at the end of the story) but for others (specially those I would like to make) it is basically a cheat which is visible in every single page.
So, can you disable it? Thanks :D

Suppose you're writing one your storygames and you want to make an option that becomes active only if he chose a certain choice at some point.
I know how to do this by creating a variable "Special" and giving it a value of 1 if he chose that choice, if he has a special of 1 later he will have that option. However, I think there must be an easier way to do this, any ideas? Thanks :)
A couple of minor suggestions on 3/12/2013 11:09:24 AM
I've found some things that, though they're probably not enough to ruin the editor/forum, they're quite annoying. So, here are my suggestions, I think they're relatively easy to apply and quite useful.
-It would be great to be able to change the order of the pages, ideally by having two (preferably blue) arrows for up and down and maybe even two (preferably green) arrows for the bottom and the top. I mean the visual order, not the # numbers.
-I've found that it would be helpful as well if there were blue up/down arrows not only for the pages, but for the choices, so if you prefer the order X,Y,Z instead of the original order of Z,Y,X , instead of having to delete each one of them and set again the link restrictions and all that, you could just press one of the arrows!
-I didn't know that you couldn't use the [url] nor the [img] here, what about a preview button? (for the forum)
-Isn't it a bit ridiculous to have to option of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentage (in the variable changes menu) when you could just use +-*/% to do the same without having to open and close the drop-down list every single time?
-In some forums when someone replies a post, it rises to the top so the most commented topics stay where users can see them, though if you reply twice the post stays where it is to prevent trolling. I think it would be great if you could apply that feature.
Thanks for reading these suggestions, I'm not here for the points so don't even bother, I just want to help improve this fantastic webpage :)
Mathematical operation for variables on 3/11/2013 9:20:49 PM
I've read about scripting, the problem is that for simple things like +-*/% it is way easier use the variable changes menu instead, so if I could use those commands instead I would be able to do the same without all the commands in scripting nor having to open the drop-down list every single time :D

I don't see any arrows nor I'm able to edit the # of the pages, what can I do to change that order? Thanks :D
