This is a fantasy-action game set in Garreth, a fictional country where peace has reigned for 127 years.
Shame it has to end...
In this game, you are a Mage. This is an rpg, make no mistake. The choices you make will affect your skills and abilities, and your relationship with other characters will alter the story. At a point, you can choose to join the forces of evil. Just bear in mind the consequences. The story has humor, but it isn't humorous by nature.
There is no 18+ material in this story. However, bear in mind that characters will die, and nations will fall, if you aren't careful. Good luck.
You are a killer.
That about sums it up. Have fun.
You were on Atlas, the greatest space station ever created. They should have named it Titanic.
So, it's 2034, and you are an astronaut on board the Atlas. It was fine, until it collided with... something. It's hard to say what it was. Space is dark, you know.
What's important now is that you are one of only a few survivors in your wing of this massive station. You have heat and air- for now. But you need to get back to Earth. How you do that is up to you.
This is not a happy game, and, depending on what you do, it can be frightening. At least, that's my intention. But you can make it home, if you make sensible choices. It is a traditional storygame, in that there aren't any variables thrown around, so playing it twice will hopefully give you a different experience.
Productive feedback is welcome. If you're a moron, and intending to type moronny things, don't bother. Enjoy!
This is meant to be fairly frightening, and I hope it leaves some lasting impressions. Throughout the story, you won't come in contact with any sane people. It isn't terribly long, and you don't have a terrible number of choices, but again, that's not my intention. I'm working on two much longer stories for that. The choices you make here will not be "Do you open the door, or run," so much as "Do you take the book, or leave it,". This is an experience. Please don't mark me down because you didn't have lots of choices, or because I didn't leave it on a scary cliffhanger. I'd get mad, and vent on one of my remaining friends. All of the choices you make are important, and they do come into play. And, as for the ending, it's meant to explain things, and not to keep you up all night.
Don't assume that just because a few of the paths join back up later that all of them do. Playing this again will yield different results, if your choices are significantly different.
Is it clown-with-chainsaw scary? No. I have self-respect. No clowns, no chainsaws.
As for maturity, there is blood, and a little language, but I gave the rating I did because this is, at least, according to my test group, pretty intense.
This is an ongiong experiment, of what scares and what doesn't as much, especially in written form. Feel free to comment or message me with feedback.
This game is not pleasant. There are no clowns or chainsaws. There is some blood, but not a lot. But the story is meant to be unsettling. There is truly only one path, but the ending will change based on your choices along the way. If you enjoy it, I encourage you to try replaying it. You may get a bigger piece of the story.
