Hi there. Welcome to my profile. I've been a member here for a few years now and I love this site! I spend alot of my free time on here  reading and writing. I love fantasy and science fiction so if you see me working on a story then theres a good chance it falls in one of those categories.

 ---------FAVORITE QUOTES---------

Tell them of us and say ,for their tomorrow, we gave our today.   --(The Kohima Epitaph)

Plans are a basis for a change.  -- (unknown)

Come not between the Dragon and his wrath.  --(Shakespeare, King Lear)

An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.   --(Winston Churchill)

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.  --(Winston Churchill)

P.S. If you are looking for a great fantasy series to read, I would recommend "The Moonshae Trilogy". All three books were amazing in my opinion and were filled with action.

Author's Notes

Fate of Artilas was the very first advanced story I wrote for the site. It was extremely short, but I loved the characters and the world I created. Now, years later, I have finally decided to revisit this world and reshape it into something I truly hope can be worthy to the site. As always thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy.

All pictures used in this story belong to their respected owners. I take no credit for anything other than the writing of the story.

Your name is John Watson, a police officer. You are unaware of the zombies until you receive a distress call from your wife who works in Amber Falls. You are Marcus Romilia, a veteran soldier of mighty Rome. You enlisted at the age of 18 and have served through numerous military campaigns. You are now 25 years old. The Emperor of Rome has declared that he is sending a legion to the north in an attempt to take over Celtic lands. These barbarians have long opposed Roman expansion. Your emperor has decided to send the 6th legion to crush these defiant tribes. You have been a member of the 6th legion ever since you joined the military. Your commanding officer instructs you to say goodbye to any loved ones you may have, because the legion marches north in three days.

Storygames on which you are currently working on 1/28/2014 7:04:43 PM

I'm working on one titled Ronin: Crown of Power. It's a fan fiction loosely based on the legend of five rings card game. I should finish act one tonight and it should be four to five acts by the time I finish. It's been a while since I have wrote anything. Hopefully I can turn these ideas in my head into sentences.

A quick question on 6/19/2011 10:05:22 AM

I live in Alabama also and I have always said nock so I dont thing it's a regional thing. I know people that say notch too so i think its just a personal preference.

New Phyrexia on 5/27/2011 9:47:32 PM

Me and two of my friends pitched in and bought a box to do a booster draft. I personally loved the set. New Phyrexia was a great way to finish the block. I pulled Karn in one of my packs and my friend got Phyrexian Obliterator ,which he traded to me later for some of my other cards.

The back button! on 5/11/2011 12:57:59 PM

I personally like the back button. I agree with the above posters about it being a life saver when you play a long game and then come to an abrupt ending. It would really make be po'ed if I had to start the whole game over again based on one death. I remember the old CYOA books and I'm sure some of you do too. The same applied to them. When I flipped to a page where I died, I didn't begin the book all over again. I just went back to the previous page. I understand you don't like allowing the reader to cheat, but cheating has been a part of CYOA's forever.

The Fantasy Contest on 5/5/2011 9:20:39 PM

Haha dang. I was hoping this would erase a little bit of shame for my failure to enter at IS. O well, I am 100% this one will be done by Aug 1st. ( Im loving the fallout comparision by the way End.)

Fixed Stories on 5/5/2011 5:47:00 PM

So I just got done fixing spelling and grammer errors in Quarantine. I had no idea how many there actually were lol. I'm a little embarassed by it. I also changed it into an advanced game somewhat. There are now pictures. I'm planning on going back over my other stories and fixing all errors in them also after I get done with my entry for the contest.

Im right there with you as of now Zikara. I was making good progress on "Heros of the Jagged Coast", but i decided to stop working on it and start a new story for the contest. The new story is called "Armor of the Dragon". Basically its gonna be a high fantasy story but the story will center around giant mechs called armors. The wizards use magi, the sorce of life and magic, to power the armors. I have the outline pretty much sketched out on paper and I'm gonna try to get some work done on it today.

Celebration! on 4/29/2011 7:43:42 PM

Wow. It's weird how much bad weather we've been having latley. That storm system that came through before this one did alot of damage in my town. We had 2 tornadoes touch down and it killed 5 people I think. It picked up a trailer and slammed it into a tree. Insane.

Celebration! on 4/29/2011 7:22:03 PM

Are you talking about the tornadoes that ravaged the southern US? We live in Southern Alabama and was lucky that it missed us. Hit mostly north and devasted Tuscaloosa. My wife heard that over 400 people are still missing altogether. Gotta keep their families in our thoughts and prayers.

haha you know its gonna take us all forever to get all these stories read. Theres no telling how long the voting stage will have to last if everybody actually submits a story.
