So I was about to publish a storygame.

It warned me that one of my pages ( the ending actually) had no links on the page, meaning it's a dead end ( yeah, i got happy I finished it so I forgot to add the links), so I canceled the publishing , went back on the page, added the necessary links, and tried again...... and it again told me there were no links from that page... I double checked, there are. Why is it still telling me outdated info?

Either you didn't save it or there is another link you need to check. Probably the latter.

Nope, I saved it, and the page was correct, because I give them names similar to chapter names so I can know which one's where.

I managed to publish the story. Apparently, waiting 5 minutes solves this, but it's annoying to be warned that something's incomplete when you just completed it.

Gah, had to unpublish it because it didn't take into account the last-minute changes I did to the first page. Why does it do this? Now i've checked the first page again and it's all right, but when it was published it was still the old version which included references to images, which i've removed minutes before publishing.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SYNCH ON THIS WEBSITE.

Relax and tell us what a synch is :)

Simply put, the website LAGS.

I don't say it cannot be my fault, my PC is actually notorious for internet speeds below half a Megabyte, but when a change is made, the website should register it as such, not warn me again about things that weren't done in the past but are already finished now.

It's like plugging in 10 devices, forgetting to plug the last, getting a warning about Device #10 not being plugged , but when you plug it and restart the whole thing it still says device #10 is unplugged.

It also happens to forum posts for me. After I will post this, I won't be able to see it for 25 seconds, and I will see the rest of the forum updating in real time, only MY post appearing with a delay.  Same with messages/notifications. I receive one, I click it, i read it, five minutes later I still see the notification about new message even if I read it and I'm sure nobody else messaged me.

That's your side not the websites because I receive none of those issues. Ever though the website is verifying everything? Either way I don't experience those so it is most likely your side.

It doesn't happen on other websites and forums, though.

Some can't believe it when I show off my amazingly-low internet speed because I do not seem to have any kind of lag.

Heck, I even play Dota 1 on Gameranger with people from Australia and I have 0 ping, and I don't even meet the minimum system requirements for Dota when it comes to RAM and graphics!!!
