"Perhaps the wager of 10 points two high or maybe it seemed to barbaric of a practice."
it should read "wager of 10 points was too high or maybe..."

i know, im such a hypocrate. i used to pick on everyone about grammar and such and now here i am doing it. oh well. hopefully people will see the difference between picking on someone's grammar in a forum compared to fixing up the site. (crossing fingers).
