In the last year or so, customization of profile pages has become extremely popular. However, no matter what one adds to their profile page, there is one thing they can’t remove: the “pudding and cream” header displaying the site mascot and a bunch of fantasy-esque scribblings.
I have been told that, while it is possible to remove the header, it is against site rules to do so. Therefore, I have a suggestion: the creation and on-site storage of one or more alternative headers. These headers will ideally be nothing more than the name of the site (and perhaps a minimalistic symbol associated with the site), without a background or any special decoration. Optimally, there will be one such header in every (ROYGBV) color, as well as white and black.
This will allow users to include the CYS branding on their profile pages in such a way that doesn’t clash with the theme they are trying to create.
When I say "on-site storage", I mean that the headers will ideally be hosted on CYS and accessible by any member, through an <a> tag.
Edit: As an addendum, I will say that even I can create text-based headers with transparent backgrounds, but there's really no point, if I don't get an okay for members using these headers in place of the default. Also, it would be helpful to know how big I need to make the headers, what font the text should be in, and how I should go about uploading them to a place where everyone can use them.
