Looks.

Anyone been to nexopia and seen the different profiles of plus users? Well exaclty have us be able to customize the colors of our profiles.

OK I do liek the idea but need some more help with it before accepting it.

What I *don't* want is it to look like MySpace. Cause I hate MySpace profiles -- they're totally unreadable with pink on purple text or whatever someone wants to customize.

So, what can we do? Can u link to some mexopia profiles? Or give ideas on what a custom profile should look like?

Maybe Profile Templates that you get to choose everytime you get 100 points? Reminds me of SMB for Nintendo DS, where u can pick the background for 20 star coins.

First of all I hate myspace, I like Nexopia. Just to clear things

For MAG/cys you have to choose combo's that are readable.

For instance, Red Text Black background.

You are given a list of maybeten combo's and if you dont choose one then its default mag. And maybe they could be unlockable.

Currently you can use HTML tags such as:

<body> use at top and bottom of page
 or (bold)
 (underline)
 or <emphasize> (ittalics)
 (paragraph - Use at beginning and end of each)
<img src="webpage"> (Insert a picture - to insert the header use this code: <img src="http://www.myadventuregame.com/App_Themes/MAG/images/masthead_logo.gif">

You have to use source to do those though. There are plenty more though. Those are just the basic ones.

Havacoman, do you ven know what were talking about? Were not just talking about goddam fonts and headers. This includes, Background colours, font sets, trophies have to fit in in colour, and much more. Your goddam html isn't gonna help here. Quit trying to know it all, it gets seriously annoying when you coem u pwrong half the time.

Ouch. No need to be harsh now, I like having many perspectives.

Plus, he is technically right, you can do a lot with HTML and CSS, including overriding the page's style.

I know it's not the topic of profile customisation, but while talking of changing colours, what I'd really like to see is a selection of "page schemes" so that stories aren't just black text on a white background. Ie, if you don't want people selecting any old colour they please, you could just make five or six different background/foreground colour mixes, that you know look good, and have them select which one they want to use with their story. I'd love a black or charcoal background with white text for my story, because my pictures are dark already, and when placed on a white background, they were almost impossible to make out, so I had to change all my pictures to suit the white background :(

Oh not you too, you also spelled COLOR wrong

Anyway, yes, this is a DEFINITE thing going (http://chooseyourstory.com/forums/message.aspx?MessageId=272). The idea will be that you select a THEME for your storygame, and it alters the whole look of the editor -- font face, background color, etc, and so on.

Technically, this isn't too hard to implement, but I'm so not an artist and doing such themes are hard for me, so this is why the idea has sat on the back burner for so long.
