I think there should be a small button somewhere on your post that when you press it, it will take you back to the new post page, but your post would be back in the writing box. Then you could re write your own post and then the post that you re wrote will overlap your old post. But you would only be able to re write your own post and after about a day you wouldnt be allowed to re write your post again.
