I was thinking about something that each time you click a link, it effects a variable. for example, if went to page 2, %VAR will go down 1. If you go then go to page 3, %VAR will go down one again, automatically. To do this you would have to have it as a setting for creating and editing variables, and there be some sort of way to pause the variable for a link if needed. This idea could use some changing, but I think it would be useful.

You can already do this with variables. To do so just click the little plus sign, go to whatever variable you want, and click addition. Scroll down to Subtract, input a one. Do this for every link you want to. If you want to stop, just don't click the plus sign.

Silverman, he's talking about making it happen on every single topic.

Unfortunately, Jenxas, had you read the scripting articles, you'd know that this was already possible using GLOBAL LINK SCRIPTS and CONDITIONAL STATEMENTS.

Please take the time to read all of those articles before posting Advanced Editor Features in the FWW. Thanks. I've moved this to the AE forum.

Global Scripts (either Page or Link) are run on every page or link prior to the link- or page-level

No worries, just maybe post in the AE forum before asking for it as a feature in the FWW :)
