When I am posting on the forums I can "paste" stuff like pictures and such while I am writing, but I cannot "copy". This can be annoying but I could just post it, then copy it, then go to edit and delete it if I want. This is just for convenience though.

Or you could type it into the word document first. Or you can edit it here with the spell checker.

I had written a whole thing about how I agreed with you, and that this was annoying and should be fixed. Then I figured out a way that you actually can copy, and its actually pretty easy.

You just have to change the way you highlight the text you want to copy.

If you look when you are typing a post, there's a grey box surrounding the text box that has your options and things. Well, at the bottom of that, there's a thing that says 'body' and 'p' and possibly 'div' or some other things. Well, if you click on body, it highlights all of the text. If you click on 'p' it highlights the paragraph where the caret currently is. After you highlight some text in this way, you can use Ctrl-C or whatever to copy it and it works.

Hope that helps you.

This is strange, I'm using IE 9 and I can highlight text to copy it right out of the box Sometimes.

It's not consistent. It's more of a Bug than a lack of a feature.

When I highlight with the mouse, it sometimes stops highlighting at random points for no reason. When it does, it's like the focus gets shifted out of the text box and back to the window itself. I can hold shift and use arrow keys to highlight text to copy without the problem happening as frequently. When it does in this manner, the arrow keys will start moving the window around rather than highlighting text (as noted above with the shift of focus).
