No, can't see either picture, although now I can see a sentence in Cov's box when I couldn't before.

I've seen this before. This is the map from the cover of a book called Leviathin. It's a story about the Austro-Hungarian Prince and the two sides of an alternate history (a.k.a. steampunk) WWI. Clankers (Central Powers), or people who use advanced machinery for various things, are against the Darwinists (Allied Powers), or people who use geneticly modified animals for various uses. Although you can't see it, the US is both Clanker and Darwinist, and as a matter of fact in the story's lore the Civil War was fought between the Darwinist South and Clanker North. It's an awesome series.

In a nutshell it's Bi-pedal tanks (Austria-Hungary) vs. 20 ft. tall war bears (Russia).
