Why do people buy porn now?

No one buys porn anymore, it's a dying industry lol.

yet it's legacy will live on through free/pirated videos on the internet. 

Of course not, it's literally at your fingertips when you get on the computer.

I think some people still do. Places like Brazzers and Kink.com are still profitable.

Hasn't porn industry moved towards 'live chats' and that kind of stuff? In terms of profitability I mean. I do recall reading something about it.

Some people either don't have computers or share one and don't think it should be risked.

Remember, you've still got the older generation to think about. They might not be computer savvy and are unwilling to learn so they still get their porn the old fashioned way through magazines, cable and DVDs.

Plus you've also got a lot of people who watch porn that have really poor impulse control. They're likely to buy shit even if they can get it for free elsewhere on the internet.

Oh and for the fascinating stories as well. Ha ha.

i still don't exactly why we starting talking about porn in the LC thread.

Lets not forget with a DVD you avoid all those potentially nasty viruses.
