Ok, so where I left off yesterday we had Duels, MAG points and Private Messages. Now I know that some of you are questioning my length and that I am just doing this for MAG points, see my article on that, It is true I do this for MAG points but the length is on purpose, I find it less intimidating to read smaller articles.
Ok so Game Basics now I am going to go over how to play a game. So lets take a look at playing a game. Now I’m going to use my Favorite game as an example. At the top of the page go to the Tab labelled Games. Then look at modern adventure and select Vengeance.
Always read the Description, it helps. If it doesn’t look to your taste don’t play, except in this case because I’m doing the tutorial for this game. Notice how its by Badger! That’s very important because you can look out for his game and read what he says on the Forums. Badger is a really nice guy that it would be great to chat to. Next look at the stats, it says Mat Level: 5. Don’t worry about levels 1-6 much, but beware of 7 a little bit. There are no level 8 maturity games. Game Difficulty 6: That’s not that bad, watch out for 7 and 8 games, they might get the better of you. Play length 6: that’s pretty much a long game. Here after this game I’ll describe lengths and finally player rating, at the time of writing this it says: 5 based on 14 ratings. I gave it an 8/8.
Ok so here, if a games Length rating is one of these then you will know what to expect.
1- Don’t play it its not worth it, approximately 1-3 pages and 2 Seconds to complete.
2- Don’t play this either, approximately 3-5 pages and 5 seconds to complete.
3- Don’t play these either, approximately 10 pages and 20 seconds to complete.
4- Don’t play this UNLESS it’s a quiz. Approximately 11-15 pages and 1-2 minutes to complete.
5- Starting to get bigger, play at your own risk. Approximately 20-50 pages and it could take awhile to complete.
6- This game is long enough to sustain a plot and develop characters. Approximately 60-150 pages. It could take thirty minutes to an hour to complete.
7- This game ix quite long. Approximately 160-200 pages and it could take over an hour to complete.
8- This game is VERY rare, The only games in existence of level 8 are: What REALLY goes on in Hawaii: The Finale by Jdog, September the 14th part 6. by Devan711 and two unpublished games not open to you until there done called Cryptode By Solostrike and Mattias the One Knight by myself. This could take quite a LONG time to finish!
Alright click on “Play this game”. Now a window has opened up. READ THROUGH IT! Don’t be shy, skipping anything ruins the story. Read through it and click on Keep going in blue text at the bottom. Keep reading and clicking. After 5-6 pages you have come to a Choice. Choose your weapon and click the link corresponding to the choice. Do you see the Brown sack, this can be replaced with a picture but the Author obviously didn’t do that. Click on it, now its in your inventory! Later in the game, you can use it when you think the time is right. To use it, click on the brown sack in your inventory, read through its description, and click use Item, to put it back click Hide Item. If it cant be used it will open a message which tells you that. WARNING: Some items disappear after a certain amount of uses so don’t blind guess. There will be many choices in all games. Now once you come to the end of the game, select a rating between 1-8 and leave a comment. This comment will be seen by the Author but the rating will not. Good luck and have fun!
