I'm making a Storygame, and in the first page I have the player choosing what their name is going to be. But how do I account for that in the rest of the game? Please don't tell me I'd have to make three different paths for each game...

The answer is, don't, if you're sensible.
Giving them the choice of a few preset names and using on page variable text is a much easier middle ground option.
