In addition to leaving comments, you now have the opportunity to rate each game on a scale of one to eight. If you're logged on while you are rating the game, your rating will count FIVE times as much as a non-registered member. So, be sure to sign on when playing.

Also, minor change, new games are now on their own category page.

Game Rating Scale:
1 - stay away. far, far away
2 - good ... for mee to poop on
3- choose your own boredom
4 - slightly more fun than homework
5 - not the best, certainly not the worst
6 - it's worth every cent
7 - even better than Reeses' Cups®
8 - it will bring you enlightenment

Hey Alex, the next thing I was thinking for in the ratings catagory was member rating, like out of ten on the side of the members name, it should say how high the system rates them... This encourages participation, game making and anything else you put on the list...

Write it up in a little more detail, especially how the system would "know" that you are a top member. Then post it in the FWW.

I was thinking, for MAG Points, if we accept a FWW post, then you get a handful of points. That'd be a cool way to award them.

I disagree with a "2" rating.

You know the expression, "there's always a critic." Well, your one critic rated the game. I added my own rating, which caused it to average out to a 3.5 (which gets rounded down to 3). What I wll do is add a text:

Game Stats (on a scale of 1 to 8)
Maturity Level: 5 - aren't you a little to old to be trick or treating
Game Difficulty: 7 - wade in shark infested water
Play Length: 6 - It'll be a while, better grab a Snickers®
Player Rating: 3 - choose your own boredom (based on 2 ratings)

i like the new text. its better to know that a game is rated 8 with just one vote rather than not knowing if its one vote or 500. meaning, that if you see an 8 rating it can be misleading for the new readers. nice addition.
