Okay, so who has read this Joe Abercrombie universe?

For those of you who haven't, go read. It's a gritty dark fantasy, with the best written action and fighting scenes in the drama. Strong character development for initially unlikable characters, characters that appear to grow and change, but revert to their former selves, and characters that do horrible things, but you love them anyway - all stellar highlights of the work.

I've read the trilogy, and thought it was pretty damned amazing. My other half is currently ambling through the first one and loves it.

I thought he dealt with the multiple viewpoints really well, and once she's finished with it, it's first on my "go back to" list, although at the rate she's going that may still be some time away.
