By Christopher Paolini. Eragon is the first book and second is Eldest. Can't wait for third! I already finish two of them!

I didn't really like Eragon. It was much too predictable, and was much too similar to David Eddings's "Balgariad".

dude...  Try Eldest, the secodn in the series.  Eragon was predictable (yet still a good read) but Eldest was a good read and went so many directions, it made Einstein's hair look flat and combed.

Yep, Eldest is much better than Eragon. But I can't believe Eragon lost to his brother even when he had that elf change...that is sad..

That seriously pissed me off.

Yeah, I know. And also, in the battle, it seemed as if Eragon was EASILY defeated by his brother whose name I have forgotten.

Yeah and then lost that sword.

Yep, that was seriously sad. The others won the war, but he lost.
