I loved the L arc much more than the Near/Mello arc. I think I'll probably just keep the first half of the series and pretend to myself that that's how it ends. I'm sorry, but you just know Light's gonna lose in the end, and I don't want him to.
On a separate note, I'm tired of people who never even read the books saying that they're morally corrupt, and bad for children to read.
