So that sudden member craze wanted me to scour for any other hidden forums out there. Anything to do with writing, gaming or anything internet geeky. Went through that reddit link but it was mostly dead end sites or stuff about knowledge. Anyone a part of any?

Well, the only other forum I particularly frequent is RPGuild, which, if you hadn't already guessed, is a role-playing site. Dunno how obscure it is, though, in comparison to other sites. I've heard about other places like Infinite Story and stuff, but you'll have to ask about those from other members.

Reddit is basically all the forums.

the format it's in just bugs me. Feels cluttered.

I feel the same way. Reddit's a great place, it's the place to go when you need an opinion on something. But the threads just feel way too cluttered for me to use regularly.
