Well, after noting that one of my classmates own a shirt with (this) humorous image starring Bob Ross one of my other classmates quoted the good man, "Gotta have opposites dark and light, light and dark in painting. It’s like in life. Gotta have a little sadness once in a while so you know when the good times come. I’m waiting on the good times now." She explained that on that episode, he was in the process of grieving his wife.
Today as I was browsing on YouTube I decided to watch a (video) by the Odd1soutcomic on ASMR, where he also had words to share on Bob. Then, I searched up a few videos and quickly gained an appreciation for the guy. His whole attitude towards painting and creativity were heartwarming bringing me to the brink of tears.
