My Imagination For a Novel

I don't have much time to visit CYS anymore because I have a life to do. I think it's highly unlikely that I can write a CYOA in the moment. But I can still write non-CYOA stories in my free time. I don't find much profit in publishing stories here anyway.

Now, I see other students in the place I live in being better in mathematics and science while I'm terrible at those subjects. I'm struggling with those annoying school lessons right now.

But thanks to this writing site, I have the upper hand in writing fictions and English. Lot of students in my school have trouble using the correct tense and words. They complain why English seems to be hard to learn. But actually, English is one of the easiest languages to learn.

Currently, I have the best score in English in the class. Hell, English is probably the easiest lessons for me. Though I do find some of its projects to be annoying for some reasons. Being able to speak two or more languages fluently is a good thing.

With me sucking in particular subjects, I feel that I need to show other people what I'm capable of. This nation needs more people that are proficient in English and writing interesting fictions. So, I decided to make a novel someday, with me being the few authors that actually make 'this or that' kind of genre and use English as the main language.

While my English teacher and other students seem to be leaning toward British pronounciation, I prefer American because it feels safer and easier for me.

I'm still an amateur at this. So I'll continue to learn the art of writing.

Eh, gotta go. I'll continue this thread later.

You're most likely not finding any "profit" anywhere else.

Good luck!

Writing is a very difficult area in which to build a career. It takes many, many long hours and quite a bit of luck. Most people who are professional writers actually do not rely on that as their only source of income, so be prepared.

But I do hope that you are wildly successful.

I know. I don't intend to be a writer as my main job. I'd like for it to be my side job or just a hobby instead.

If you want a bigger audience and chance to get somewhat of a large fanbase if you advertise right, try wattpad.

English is one of the easiest to learn, but it also has a lot of nonsensical nuances to it, so it's one of those easy to learn but hard to master languages.

You could likely understand a novice easily enough, but that doesn't mean they'd actually be speaking the language properly.

Continuing the thread now...

I find myself to like discovering different cultures and things around the world. Plus, I'm bored making character that mostly work for a nation. It can lead to complains why so many Americans are dominating as the main protagonists while other nationalities are somewhat minority.

Too many 'Muricans. Why does it always have to be Americans. I want to show people from different ethnics and nations in my fictions. So, I decided to make a novel with the characters coming from different nationality, ethnicity, and background. In order to do that, I will create a lot of fictional international organizations for my stories. Most of them are private forces or private military companies. Of course, I'll make fictional histories and other things.

The novel's universe resolves around the uprising of private forces all over the world. Conflicts keep getting bigger and worse. National armies are getting ineffective to deal with some situations. Demands of private forces get larger as governments struggle against their problems. Private forces compete against each other in the novel.

A few private forces or PMCs are shown to be as capable as the whole US Army. Some private forces find themselves to be helping out terrorist organizations while others support governments and the UN.

Some private forces create their own research and development team and make their own stuff. Hell, some begin experimenting to make super soldiers with cloning and modifying genes.

But hey, these private forces need conflicts to keep the cash flowing. So, some people stealthyly create conflicts to keep people hiring private forces -- keeping the war economy upband running.

Not just governments and organizations, but huge companies and rich people hire private forces to protect their assets.

There are four main protagonists, which are a single team of a private force. All of them aren't above 18 years old though, with the youngest being 15 years old.

The story? A powerful private force wants to make perfect soldiers. They develop their own nanomachines and implant them to their soldiers to enhance their efficiency. But they want something more powerful, soldiers that can be as powerful as Captain America or as skilled as Solid Snake or Big Boss.

As they still do their research on how to produce highly-skilled soldiers with above human characteriestics, the leader or boss decides to take young people from all over the world to enter his organization. He prefer the ones with troubled life and childhood for some reasons. He also believes that those troubled young people will make for better soldiers compared to normal people with average or good childhood and enjoying their life well.

So, he creates two separate branches for his private force. One for the recruited young people, one for experienced contractors. A lot of their contractors are veterans from war in Iraq and Afghanistan. But they still recruit veterans from all over the world.

The main protagonists, one Russian-Canadian, one Indonesian (of Chinese and Japanese descendants), one South African, and one Turkish find themselves to be recruited into the private force along with others. The Russian-Canadian one will get into the spotlight most often.

These recruits range from 15 until 22 years old. A few of them are former child soldiers. They will be given training and enhancements for a year before being pressed into service, while at the same time the leader tries to get their heart to like him. They like him for saving them from their awful life. But hey, there may be a hidden plan that they didn't know...

Surprisingly, these juveniles barely feel any fear doing their duty. Thanks to nanomachines and various enhancements suppressing their emotion and enhancing their effectiveness, they become highly-skilled soldiers. This is the leader's step one to create super soldiers.
