Looking for a good co-author

Yea like it says, I'm looking for a decent co-author or like a mentor/personal critic for my main story-game that I'm working on(for like 3 years now without progress).

...Why didn't I do this 3 years ago?

Because you're a lazy, cocky idiiot.

Oh yeeeaaah.

A personal critic? Oh yeah, there's PLENTY of those to go around here!

I mean like some one who's not going to be a total douche about. Trust me I know there are one's that are. I just want someone who's gonna be straightforward and honest about it.

I can't promise I'll be very active thanks to college, but I suppose I could help in your story. But first, PM me what the story is about, ok??

Well, I'm honest. You may not like some of the things I say, but it would be with the best of intentions. I've never been outright rude to anyone I've ever beta-ed for / assisted with a story because I respect their efforts and desire to improve.

Though, I admit, I did laugh at this one girl who had me beta-read a fanfiction where she put a male character in a bright red thong because... ... yeah, no, not even in the most ridiculous fan fantasies would that character ever be caught dead in a bright red thong.

How could you not laugh?

He is quite good with descriptions and reeling people in, and has some very interesting ideas. Black Moon (or, at least, the intro that was published at the time) is one of the stories that convinced me to become a member. ^_^ That, along with Homo Perfectus. I can't remember any of the others that I read as a guest though, besides Finals Week because it was required class reading.

Mostly what he needs is a boost of confidence/inspiration, a proofreader, and a bit of pacing.

You had a class that required you to read Finals Week?

It's disturbing to think that any teacher would require their students to read anything on this site.

Teacher: Okay, class, today we will be reading some more works by the esteemed Endmaster.

Student: (twitching) I...I dunno. Can't we just read Faulkner or something?

It was 7th grade, Language arts help class. We were doing an activity based on Choose Your Own Adventure stories, where we had three groups of five people. One person wrote the base. Two wrote a path the story could go. The other two wrote two more paths the story could go after the first choice. For an example, the teacher had us read Finals Week. It was how I was introduced to the site. Since I finished it early, I was allowed to pick something else with a low maturity rating to read while I waited for everyone else to finish, and I found Homo Perfectus.

Homo Perfectus was amazing. I just cried as I got to like the third one I think.

Never mind this as I just published it. I will wait awhile to see what people say about it before I decide to make the next one.
