This is help for names.

Does anybody have any names for planet savages? In the sci fi world, these savages have barely strewn together weapons, armor, and maybe a few vehicles burning on about one hundred chemicals an hour. I'd like it very much if you guys could help me find a fitting name for them.

Well, if you are searching for names that humans would call them, I guess space monkeys/apes, though it depends a lot on how they look. What are they like? Are they humanoid? Do they resemble some animal? What's their personality like? What do they think of humans/other races in general? What do they eat, lifespan, etc? Any details would help.

The savages are going to probably look like hairless apes. They are somewhat humanoid, yes. They are usually very stereotypical, very violent, repulsive, monstrous. They hate humans for destroying their worlds and taking all of their resources. The savages also usually will kill other species for bloodlust. They have only been known to enlist the help of similar species to themselves. 

If they are savages and people have named them, I'd try and think of how they look, then add something disparaging to the name so they are easy to hate.

Sci Fi you say? Then anything starting with a 'Gr or ending in 'ock'
Grocks
Morlocks
Psymocks
Gruups
Grunts
Grentocks
etc...

Then you got classics, such as Dreggs, Outlanders, Outcasts, Outlaws, Chem-Head's, Clam-Heads, Dirt Ghouls, etc etc etc...

Oh man, this is giving me flashbacks to a story I started ages ago that was all lizard people rolling around a wasteland in scrap metal tanks...

What the hell? Why are you not working on this story? Go finish it, now!

I guess it could have been submitted for the horror contest.
