You're the Bachelor

I have admittedly never seen any Bachelor show, but that didn't pose any problem for me in enjoying the subject matter of this storygame. It had humor, which was sometimes hit or miss, but I don't believe that the writing was bad. Actually, I found certain scenes quite humorous as I read them.

Also, I liked the pictures that were used in this storygame. They never felt out of place and served well in enhancing certain scenes with some rather interesting visuals. These pictures were used sparingly, but utilized well.

I did notice that no matter the choice that you pick, you always do end up with the same three woman at the end. So that fact did damper my enjoyment in my other playthroughs somewhat. But if there are some positives, it's the many nonstandard gameovers or how choosing on whether to propose or simply ask a contestant out changed the ending as well.

The women themselves felt bland character wise, static even. But I suppose that is something to be expected when there's dozens of other maidens vying for the bachelor's attention. Such a scenario did provide for some interesting dialogue, even if the characters themselves didn't exactly appeal to me all that much.

For a quick read and maybe a laugh or two, this storygame does rather well. It does lack depth in many areas, such as the writing and characters. However, at the end of the day it's an adequate storygame and one that was enjoyable.

I have to admit that this is pretty good. I usually don't like these kinds of things, but this was decently written and I liked taking the high road.

I don't know but this story just didn't really hit home with me. The writing was decent enough, just felt like it was missing something.

Welp, that was a violent end... but it was pretty good, I guess. Enjoyable!
