This game does have potential, but it lacks a strong story. The combat system was pretty cool as it was somewhat similar to that of an RPG game. I feel that aspect is this game's strongest point, but it could use some improvements in other areas, mainly both the grammar and actual storytelling.

Proofreading would have went a long way in improving some aspects of the writing, because I found myself running into some issues with the grammar of this story. Also I'm aware that attempts to build suspense in certain scenes were made, but I think that those attempts were done poorly. Some pages could have used more words in general, and more of an attempt to show some emotion in the writing would've made this seem more inspired.

This game has a good system in place here, the combat system works out well and is fun for the most part. But it seems like things like story aspects take a backseat in the overall presentation of this storygame. I would recommend working harder to make all elements of your work to be equally as strong when compared to each other.

You show promise as a writer, but I would to see some effort. There's always room for growth and improvement after all.

It was ok. Kinda sucks no matter what it ends when you go back to check on your family regardless of if you do it immediately or after going through everything. You don't get the option of checking your family and then doing everything.

A lot of fun. I like the interaction and the simple story.

I mean, come on!! I finished it in like 4.5 minutes (no, not 45 mins, 4 point 5 mins hehe.) If the author makes part 2 and does a few extra things like: Making a new, much, much, much longer, deeper story. Keeping up or even increasing the humor. Having a bit better grammar. And creating an even better combat and scavenging system, then it would be a story worth reading. Not Bad for a first try (I presume). hehe!!

Pretty funny, But really short, Woulda been heaps better if it went on for another hour or three, still, I like the concept of implementing a combat and HP system in it.

The system could be better. Real life anyone with SOME upper body strength could kill a zombie one hit using a bat. Also, a well-placed shotgun blast to the face would kill almost anything easily. Also, get a more involved story.

I had a lot of fun

I liked this. It was simple and easy yet fun and enjoyable. Grammar mistakes here and there but other than that, it was a good game!

Pretty cool! I can't believe that I actually felt the rush of an RPG playing through this. Would be nice if the character had a choice to reload or flee during mid-fight though. Still, it was fun.

I REALLY liked the scripting, allowing for different combat options and no guaranteed lose/win options clumsily made.

I must stress however that there were a fair few spelling and grammar mistakes.

I gave it good marks, but could the next chapter maybe have some alternative endings to spice it up?

This story was much too short ;~; It has an interesting battle sequence that I've seen in a couple others, still don't understand how it works though. But based on what i encountered the game was well done so far. I want more XD

Okay.

Well it didnt have much text on each page but it was a good premise and had good use of items. The only problems I had with it was that it seemed near impossible to actually die in it unless you used the weakest weapon possible and it was a little short. Over all a good story.

AWESOME BUT VERY SHORT

It was way too short, lacked any real story content, and this story used items for no good reason. After all, even after I dropped my bat and pistol for the heck of it, I still had "6/7 ammo" in my Colt .45, and could still swing my bat. It wasn't a n00bish crapfest by any means, but it could've been a lot better.

That was awesome. The way you used the variables was amazing and the fight scenes were just stellar. The end was a little weird seeing as I could have just shot the guy and it would have been nice if the game was longer.

All in all, really good.

I like the idea one of my favorites

The problem with this game is that it's short and linear, but I see great potential in it. The style with which you execute a zombie game is a refreshing change of pace, and I'm eager to see the sequel. With this in mind, I gave it a 6/8.

Did not like the end where you are forced to use a bat why use it if you have a shotgun or pistol.

A turn-based fighting system... Nice! It was a bit cartoonish in terms of the zombies you fight, but all in all a decent game! I'm pretty sure you can improve on this.

Cool fighting mode thing. Kinda shortish.

It wasn't very descriptive. Nice and short is always good, but 5 times hitting continue, and reading a single sentence gets old fast.

I liked the story and enjoyed the many options each section of the story offered me. The detail you put into the describing the zombies was fantastic. There were a couple parts I found a little difficult, like when I entered the Deli. Reloading outside of combat should of been included. However overall it was a great work and effort.

1. Why do I only get the bat for the last fight when I have all those weapons?
2. Why isn't the First Aid a carryable item that I can use anytime?

Ugly:
1. Why can't I reload my guns between battles?

I liked it. It was simple and didn't really provide much of a story beyond surviving a zombie apocalypse, but I liked the combat system.
