I am a Jack of All Trades, master of some.

Professional story telling has become my newest obsession and I will not stop until I am satisfied or the mystery and mysticism within it has faded through skill. However, I fear that I am vexed. Fantastic worlds have captivated me since childhood. My imagination burns like a Phoenix Flame giving birth endlessly to new and exciting creations. I am a God, in my own mind; these people, they live and breathe within the span of my interest and in a twinkling of an eye, they vanish.

What wonderful life flickers then fades away in a simple moment of inspiration? What creatures claw away at the edges of my dreams? Who can know the beautiful worlds that escape me once mine eyes open from a deep slumber? The beauty of the mind. The fickleness of the heart. If I'm the invisible God of the beings within my mind, who is the God over my being? Am I as well, a whisper in the wind? Do I to begin and end like the life and death of a raindrop? Do I bring joy and amusement to my God? Or perhaps, am I one of the inconsequential characters in someone else's story?...

NO... I refuse to be ordinary...

Fabled

You begin as a child in bed, listening to the Sagas as told to you by your father. These are essentially a collection of tales about Heroes of Old though some were certainly not very heroic. In fact, some were not even heroes. Just people caught up in a series of events that led to great consequences. However, in time you will find yourself caught up in your own web of choices. Wherever they may lead you...

Is fan-fiction allowed?... on 11/3/2015 8:25:55 PM

So, i have this idea that i have been tossing around in my head, and im thinking about publishing a rough work of it before going big with it. The thing is that Ive tried other sites and it was a no go because of the fact that i borrow some things from another franchise (Dark Souls). Its not blatant copying, but i just took the idea of 'hollowfication' and 'the dark sign' and ran with it. The mechanics interested me and the personal turmoil of the change that takes place in the character. Anyways, i just wanna know...

If i decided to make a story based off of someone else's work would it be cool? (Star Wars, Dark Souls, Harry Potter, etc...)

What are Daily Points? on 9/1/2014 5:43:11 PM

Nvm, i found it. I clicked on my profile on the bottom of the site. The "Who's Online" thing. It's in the "Points" section in "My Stuff". My bad, newbie mistake.

I don't have a link. I clicked on the blue exp points to get me to a chart of my points and when i looked around the screen i saw nothing but my reason for getting certain points...

So, I've noticed in my exp points that i had a daily point somewhere down the line but then it stopped abruptly. So, now im kinda wondering what in the world daily points are because if you don't receive them daily how do you earn them?

I really like how you used the images in 'Necromancer'. That is kind of what made me want to incorporate images in a tasteful way while not forcing my version of the world on the reader. It really helped my artist side paint the tone of the world in my head from the images you chose. To me, it was advantageous and made the story easier to read because i wasn't focusing on how things looked. I just looked at the snap shot and let my mind fill in the blanks.

My problem now is dusting off my Wacom drawing tablet... Much harder than using a pencil and paper... At least with the ones without the screen in them. Those cost like $2,000.00, lol.

Yes, but as an open minded Christian i believe it would be beneficial to keep in mind human error is very possible and if it wasn't why would Moses write this?>

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. (Deuteronomy 4:2)

Yes, i believe the people who translate the word do so to the best of their ability, but some things may have been lost in translation, one thing spoken in one language can have a different effect in another. It isn't uncommon for a licensed and schooled pastor to know several languages so that he may compare the texts in those languages as well receiving different insight and enlightenment as opposed to that of only one.

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. (Revelations 22:18)

"John" wrote this^ as he became overwhelmed with emotion from the vision and visitation of an angel. This most likely is a curse placed on the scroll of Revelations and all who translate its words i'm sure broke out in a cold sweat after reading this.

To me it is more important to meditate on God's Word rather than debate whether it's contents are credible. Receive enlightenment through your own connection to God. Allow him to teach you, and if you believe my previous statement is correct then somewhere in yourself you believe in the spiritual power of God and your connection to him aka 'The Holy Spirit'. As it was explained before the different names of God are one and the same. Just like how your mind can tell you it is time to study, your body tells you you need a snack, and your heart tells you studying sucks. These are not different people telling you what to do, but different aspects of yourself.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27)

Anyways,

Im a Christian by todays terminology (though i hate what stereotypes it implies), and its nice to see others of similar faith. Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, Orthodox, etc...

Key word "Similar"

Ground Zero's use of images is a little too much. Almost comical at times which was most likely the goal. Who wants to be serious all the time? I just want to use images in certain points to help visualize a character or scene or whatever. It adds more to the mood i guess. Its kinda rare for me to read something and feel like im actually there, you know. I cant remember what it was that i was reading but it was extremely scary. Mostly due to the authors ability to create a scene. Like to the point where i began to get chills and looked around my room for any moving shadows lol.

I don't think im that good so I'll add photos to aid in that aspect. That doesn't mean i won't try though.
