What if we could put videos or music clips into storygames to enhance atmosphere or give more context?

No. This is a writing site. Moreover, there is no better medium than text for creating atmosphere. If you want, you can use simple HTML to add videos and music to you games.

You can, with HTML, but why? Like Negative said, is a writing site, and the atmosphere is created by the story itself, not pretty pictures and GIFs and videos that distract from the text.

Actually, you already can! I'm very technologically challenged so I can't really help you out in the how department, but I do know that it's possible.
