I expect my first story to be finished by February-March. Until then I'll do these small horror short stories in the lounge for the entertainment of anyone who might not feel like playing a story-game at the time or just like small horrors.
Some will be stories I found, most will be stories I make up. I enjoy creativity so it's also a chance to work on mine. Leave a opinion on the stories or just enjoy them, you don't have to comment if you don't like but I Appreciate feedback. Ok I'll shut up now. On with story ?
A jungle explorer, Mike, wakes up to find himself surrounded by nothing but Tree's and shrubs. After a few seconds, he remembers what happened. A local villager robbed him and stripped him of his gear and belongings before knocking him out cold, stealing his vehicle and leaving him for dead as well. "Crap" he thinks to himself. He picks himself up but as soon as he's on his feet he hears a growl behind him.
Mike turns around to see a full grown Panther staring intensely at him. The Panther is all red colored, and no known Panthers have that color. He freezes, unable to move. After about five minutes of the staring contest , he figures the carnivore only wants him out of his territory. Mike takes a step back. The Panther takes a step forward. Mike takes another step back. The panther takes a step forward. Mike feels his entire body tremble with fear. His instincts say run, but his mind convinces him that would mean death. Mike turns around and begins walking away and the panther slowly follows him. He walks for quite a bit, noticing the Panther slowly increasing it's pace on him, getting closer and closer. "Why hasn't it attacked me yet". That question swirls in Mike's head over and over again.
The sun has now almost vanished now. Mike notices a dark cave. Thinking that's his best option from certain death at this point he enters without question. The Panther doesn't follow him in but instead runs away into the now dark forest seeing as the sun has gone completely down now. It's only when the hands grab him; feeling like broken, bent human hands, that he remembers what the villager told him before knocking him out.
He was warned that when nightfall hits the Makentens come out to eat anything living. He told him he only wanted his propery, he didn't want him to die so he told him that the Panthers of this particular forest will protect you and lead you out to safety. "Makentens will tear you apart in seconds" he remembers the villager saying "Find and stay close to dee Panthers, dee Panthers lead you out Forest." Mike, being too shaken with fear to remember that at the time, feels himself pulled into the darkness of the cave....
A village woman hangs her final piece of cloth on the hanger to dry when she hears agonizing screaming coming from the forest. Covering the ears of her Daughter, she continues to hear screaming....nothing but screaming......
