Like a gaming binge, where you SPEND, not waste, hours upon hours upon hours upon hours playing one or more games. You might be pwning all night in CoD4, or add in some Gears 2 Horde and some Left 4 Dead, Halo 3 Custom Games (which is the only reason I still play Halo 3), etc. etc.

 Ohyeeeah!

Best binge games (ranked):

Kotor (the first time, anyway)

Morrowind

Oblivion

Civilisation (I, II, III or IV)

Half-Life 2 (the first time, anyway)

Counterstrike

On these games you can play for HOURS, nay, DAYS without stopping.

Especially Kotor. Didn't play or do anything else for a week. Just sat there, played Kotor on my new awesome comp, ate, slept. Best week of my life.

Starcraft. Epic Win. Especially on the LAN we created in IT.

I've only binged maybe...five times? Four times? Either way, the ones that come to mind are as following: (Keep in mind these binges were on holiday vacations or long weekends. I don't binge on 2-day weekends or schoolnights.)

1. CoD4 with a full party of buds - we played Search and Destroy as well as Sabotage and RAAAAAAAAAAAPED. Leveled up about...four times? 49, 50, 51, 52. Good times. This is the first binge I think I had. Probably nine hours.

2. TF2. Met some awesome folks online and raped as a Pyro. Six hours I think.

3. Insurgency, again with some amazing guys I was matched with. It was me, some guy, another guy, and a husband and wife. Excellent times killing them Innies. Five hours.

4. Fallout 3. Once I got the game, I fell in love with it. Epic fun trying out different dialogue options and seeing what happens if I kill this asshole, or this asshole, or that asshole over there. Seven hours or so.

BTW, JJJ, GET HL2 AND/OR CSS.

Dude. five hours does NOT qualify as a gaming binge. 8 hours minimum. 5 hours gaming a day is like my normal rate.

And yes, HL2 and CSS own. Gravity Gun with rusty cogs is the best :D

5 HOURS!? Holy..shit...

My daily rate is MAYBE an hour, so my gaming "binges" are about  three hours.

My Morrowind binges are spastic. And my Oblivion ones.

But it's nothing next to to the Great Kotor Binge of Dec. 2007.

10 hours a day, for 7 days! Until I finished the damn thing and had to play BF2142 instead. Which sparked another series of binges. This was just after I got my FIRST decent comp, though. It was like an epiphany. NEVAR GROWING UP!

Seth's ones are all RPGs, I think.

I don't find strategy games good for binges, because of the mental activity. Except on LAN with noob friends.

But I still love the Fallout 3 opening theme, "When the swallows come back" I believe it's called. Inon Zur is very cool.

All RPG type, solo.  It's the only kind of game I really play, mostly.  (Okay, Assassin's Creed.) 

lol I liked Assassin's Creed, even if it was supposedly repetitive. Honestly, I dealt with repitition a lot with some older games, and it never really bothered me. Obviously it wasn't copy-and-paste magnitude, but AC wasn't copy-and-paste, so there!

Anyway, each day now, I play Fallout 3 for 3 hours straight, and once Martin Luther King day comes around, I'll change my character to an African American (hopefully I can do that in the middle of the game, but maybe that's just my haircut...) or at least have a Fallout 3 binge. I LOVE FALLOUT 3!!!!

Anubis, you need to talk to Pinkerton in Rivet City.  He can change your face.

The only final fantasy game I really got into was VI. Steampunk ftw!

As for the current topic of video games...

There was a steampunk RPG that I liked called Arcanum. It was made by one of the same guys who did the original Fallout. The only bad bit about it was the clunky combat engine, but everything else about it was cool.

If you're into Fallout 3, there's supposed to be some downloadable content coming out this month, February, and March. The first one is supposed to be a simulation of the liberation of Anchorage. The second adds a new town called "The Pitt" (Old Pittsburgh I suppose) The third one is suppose to allow you to keep playing after you beat the game. (Helping the BOS wipe out the rest of the Enclave)

I just downloaded some stuff for Fable 2 recently, it adds another major quest and some more items, but nothing major.

Yeah, I heard about the DLC for Fallout 3. Operation Anchorage sounds really awesome since you'd be replacing Muties, Ghouls, and Raiders for TDC's (Those Damn Commies!). I really hope they let you keep any loot you find in the simulation, but I'll understand if not. And if they continue the storyline, it'd be very nice. Apparently the game ends when you finish the main quest, and you can't even keep playing after that. But that's just what someone said.
