So, after the half hearted queerness of casting Ellen as Dori in Finding Nemo, and giving Lefou a two second dance scene with a man in the live action Beauty and the Beast, Disney finally decided to come out of the closet with their first (actual) gay couple in a Pixar short called "Out".
It's all about a guy who goes out of his way to hide the fact that he's gay from his parents, only for him to find out... They already knew all along, and they don't really give a shit.
The cartoon itself is pretty cute... But absolutely nothing compared to the sheer and utter beauty of the angry comments left by concerned parents of presumably fruity kids... Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children?
Pixar's still good. ^_^
Bitch, Coco was a masterpiece! >.<
Oh I just mentioned I saw this short before seeing Toy Story 4.
Funny thing is I wasn't paying attention to what it even was until my wife said "Watch this with me!"
Rainbow appears with sparkling purple dog animals coming out of it.
"This looks pretty damn gay."
Next scene is a homo couple.
"Oh I was right."
Anyway I'm going to troll my wife's sister and her husband about it being on their beloved Disney channel next time I see them and also point out all the other gay shit Disney has been sneaking into their movies lately (Lesbian cyclops in Onward and the two lesbians kissing in Star Wars 9)
Also, Ursula was a tranny, Scar was pretty fabulous, and Li Shang was surprisingly pissed when he found out that Mulan was a woman. :p
Ahem, Scar wasn't gay at all. There was a deleted scene where it established that the whole reason Nala went looking for Simba was because Scar tried to Pervy Uncle her.
But they decided to delete the scene because Scar was super gay! ^_^
Actually, time-travellers deleted the scene in the vain hope that not depicting an attempted lion rape would prevent a generation of sexually confused deviantartists who draw and roleplay as lions fucking.
It didn't work.
Just binge watch Mandalorian. ^_^
