Well, as it turns out, I probably won't be able to do it myself... so I'll almost certainly be hosting another one of these jams in the future. I want to play too! 

Damn. I will feel sorry for ya when I'm working away at the most boring shit imaginable. 

Actually, I will be busy being drawn and quartered by every course, that gets it's own exam.

Aw. Sympathy, man. And yeah, I've got some fairly tedious work to do myself... but I'm thinking I'll get started on it between now and midnight, and then tack on a few extra hours to Sunday's workday, and see if I can swing the jam after all. ^_^

Well, the thought that went into that ellipse was more like... "but CYS is indexed by Google, and while nobody knows or cares who I am at this point, I may eventually publish games. And talk about games. And quite possibly say the kind of things that have gotten Anita Sarkeesian death threats." >_<

Do you think I should risk writing a sequel to one of my games?

I'd say, in general, if you've got a particular thing that you're really excited about working on, and there's any chance you can get it done in time... go for it. Worse case scenario, you don't finish it time to officially participate in the jam... but you've got a solid start on the project. ^_^

Hmm...  I may just wait to see if we use a theme.

OH MAN. I am totally going to double-jam and make a 24-hour game for Ruin Jam 2014. :D

I just realized that we're not running this on EST, and it may well be past midnight for some folks -- oops!

I'm going to say that voting on the theme is hereby CLOSED, and we will be going with NO SPECIFIC THEME. But if you suggested a theme, of course you're welcome to use that theme yourself! ^_^

Damn, it's like a super condensed CYS version of the NaNoWriMo. I wish I could participate in this one. So many awesome ideas, no time to actually sit down and type.

Finished my game "Late Life!"  It's a horror game that I made in 2 hours, so... don't expect too much.

YAY! Our first (and possibly only) winner! ^_^

Well, a few customers showed up today, and I also took advantage of the cool weather to do some much needed yard work.  I didn't have time to write, and now I'm too exhausted to be creative.  But...at least I made some money, and I'll sleep well tonight.  xD

Sorry you couldn't participate, but that sounds like a pretty good day. I'm really glad we've got some cool weather coming in here, too. ^_^
