In Media Res story. You are trying to figure out the events that lead you up to your current predicament while surviving in the present. Things start off PG, but can get Macabre very quickly depending on your choices.

I like the idea of that. That could influence the character's action, knowing he has to stay morally good to avoid the pit.

As everyone knows, selling one's soul is one of the most cliché ways to gain power, complete a vengeance, bring someone back from the dead, get an ice cream sandwich, yada yada yada. However, I don't want to use a stereotypical reason. I am seeking help on reasons why someone would sell their soul, that makes sense and is creative.

Example of what I mean: selling your soul to cure yourself of vampirism IDK why you would do that, but just an idea

I looked into it, and I can't seem to buy it without signing up for kindle unlimited which I refuse to do. However, from what I read in the description, the idea is an interesting one and it seems to have a solid plot.
