Now, the thing about war - 9 out of 10 soldiers survive, and life is a gamble when you're surrounded by enemies who want to kill you with mustard gas, flamethrowers, tanks, or on the off-chance, other soldiers who want to kill you themselves. Maybe you'll get a bad roll. After all, 99% of gamblers quit before they score big money. (Serious war game - with some silliness thrown in.)
