im not receiving email notifications anymore about when someone plays my game. nor am i getting all the forum email notifications. in one forum thread i was only getting one persons responses.

yes, i am not receiving these as well and a month ago, i received TWO email notifications out of the blue, i hadnt recieved any since sumer, then on that day, two comein, odd!

I have enabled logging on the mailserver ... we'll see!

I'm still getting them....

I looked in the mail logs, and noticed that AOL is directing me to visit this URL: http://postmaster.info.aol.com/errors/554rtrbl.html

Basically, it says that this IP address has been blacklisted :-(. I will contact my host to see if I can get relay that has not been blacklisted.

well for me... heres an example of whats happening. im getting email notifications from 3j's posts, but not from others when they post on the Duels Score thread. i randomly get replies from different people but not from others. wierd. i do check the forums constantly though so for me its ok, but for others im sure it could get extremely annoying.

but at the same time its not even showing him online when i get his emails lol wierd. but i guess that falls under the other "whos online" thing going on.

The IP of the new server is what's blocked by AOL. I've opened a trouble ticket, I will get a relay so that outgoing mail uses a different IP address.

I spoke too soon. This is odd, but it looks like it isn't a "generally recognized" SPAM IP Address. I tested the IP (66.232.98.34) at http://rbls.org, and it wasn't blacklisted by anyone.

I'll just directly contact AOL directly.

How do you know about all of these sites.

It was the 3rd site down on the list for my search phrase: blocked IP SPAM.

wow, lol.  And here I was - thinking you were some internet master with thousands of connections, lol jk.

Oh I am THE Internet Master.

I store all of my connections in my personal website (Google.com). You have to know the secret passwords to access them. I told you my secret password to find that one, so you can easily find it.

im still not getting email notifications.... :( bummer dude. i feel so left out!!! kinda like im locked out...? hey wait a minute!!! lol anyway, just wanted to say that im still having that problem.

Sorry no fix just yet ... it seems that only AOL us effected by this. Okay, that's a big "only" ... but i'm going to try to resolve thsi through AOL instead of gettting a different IP address.

mine is blockign it to then, i am with Sympatico.

Your mailserver is not complaining about the message ...

ii have lived without it all this time, i dont need it that bad, nate is right, focus on otehr things.

I turned them off.  473 messages is annoying.

OK -- how about this solution. Everyone gets a gmail account instead. You know, @gmail.com. They don't block us :-)

uhh, no thanks here.  I'm not recieving.

Wouldn't it be better to just come on the site everyday.  There is enough activity that we don't need people subscribing to a message.

i switched to my yahoo account earlier today (7th) and i dont seem to be getting any notifications there either. i checked my bulk/spam folder and everything. wierd. i cant afford another emial addy dude. my brain cant keep up with it. lol yahoo, aol, UT, and im sure theres another im missing somewhere.

whats the point in having a computer or electronics for that matter if we have to go back to writting things down for us? seems like a waste of money to me.

actually, a few days ago i changed it to my gmail email address and i havent received mail from MAG, so maybe it blocks it too.

If we become to reliant on Computers, the human race will die out.
