Point Titles

As you go about reading stories you gain points, as your point count increases you can earn a number of titles, right? And, yes, members do gain points by creating storygames, but only from their first three. I thought that some of the titles were not very fitting, ones similar to Wordsmith or Master Scrivener, when those titles are about writing.

So, I believe that titles that have to do with being a great writer would be inappropriate to award, as you don't have to write in order to increase your point count.

I agree.

Study is part of becoming great at something, and that's how I view reading the games others make. And most of us with the larger point counts have increased them by getting points via featured games and contest wins. Some people legitimately deserve the acknowledgment for their skills and contribution... so I do not agree. Besides, do you realize how much effort it takes to get to master or grandmaster?

At ten times your point count, you would only be considered an apprentice, and you've been around for almost a year. If you wanna debate whether or not a title has been earned or is appropriate, I'd recommend obtaining it first or having evidence that it isn't.

I stand corrected. :)
