Solostrike and JJJ (me) are making an epic game using both of our masterful story telling powers of the arcane!  However, neither of us is doing less then the other.  We should have equal rights, so instead of me being the main author and him coing, can we have it so our names are Equal on the game page, and we have equal powers on the game?  Otherwise its just not fair...

What if you just put in the text that you are equal authors?

What if Coauthors weren't smaller?

Think about it this way, one name always has to come first. You really can't avaoid that.

but you see, thats what we want to avoid. we want to be equal without having to state it in the description. Is there anywya you can have

How about this ....

  • Author: Solostrike
  • Authors: Solostrike and JJJ
  • Authors: Solostrike, JJJ, and SomeoneElse

... depending on the # of authors. There would be no more CoAuthor distinction or anything like that. Primary author is always listed first.

Easy.  Author checks equal rights.  Simple.  If he checks equal rights then names are equal, otherwise we use the current system.

This is something I don't want to have -- I'd like it one way or another -- this is the Less Features rule. We want to reduce the number of features down to a managable level so that it's less things to break / teach.

So, in this case, we have to pick which one will upset less people.

We need it this way, but we are a minority...  Is there anyway you can have it automatically done?  By numbers of words written?   So if its "close" then they are equal?

Not really ... but I like the idea of just having the primary author listed first (like in books) and on the Category/Listing page.

I have the solution.  Main author on catagory page, all authors equal on game page.
