I think it means the size is inconvenient for the system. I know if that is the case, there is usually a pop-up window that appears, but I've had that happen on several occasions too, and it usually doesn't occur if I make the picture smaller.

I guess but it was not in a popup window.

I know. I said it usually tells you that the picture is too large in a popup window, but I have seen a case where the thing you described above shows up instead. At least I think that's your problem.

Ok I will try and resize the pic.

Sorry? Why sorry? It's an understandable question.

Sorry for doubting you.

Actually, sometimes it doesn't come up as a pop up for me, either.

The thing is, there are two things you need to watch for: Number of pixels and size of the actual file.

There will be a popup like the one SindriV was talking about if you have the image too big, you have a limit of 500 width, and 600 height. maybe 550 for width, not too sure.

You also have a limit of 100kb per image. This comes up with this error, instead of a popup. To reduce file size you can either resize it to a smaller image or just put a lesser file quality. If you have photoshop (or even paint shop pro, or some free image editing software) you can usually set jpeg quality when you save.
