I'm using Mozilla Firefox on a Mac OS 10.6.8 operating system, although I don't think that information is likely to be relevant as up until today I've been using this setup and nothing has gone wrong.

When editing pages in the Advanced Editor, instead of opening pages in new windows the page loads in the same tab and window as the editor. When I click "Close and Save Changes" it directs me to a page saying "you may close this window". I haven't recently changed any of the settings on my computer or on Mozilla Firefox. I'm going to have a look around now but if anybody has had a similar problem before (or is having the problem now) and knows how to fix it, please let me know. Otherwise it might be a site bug.

That has happened a few times to me, but for all I know, it occurs at random moments. One moment it happens, the other everything functions normally.

First time it's happened to me, ever. Really irritating, I'm in a real story-writing mood and that doesn't happen often anymore. I'll try opening it in Chrome or if that fails Safari.

Good news, new windows open up in Chrome (bad news, Chrome has no Rich Text Editor whatsoever. Just a minor inconvenience but, I'll just use HTML for the time being). I'll try Safari as well, just in case.

Alrighty, twenty minutes later and it works in Firefox again. Must just be an occasional bug.

Yes. That's how it was with me as well. No idea how that works though.

I use Firefox 3.6 on Windows 7 and this happens from time to time. Generally if I close the browser and re-open it it works again.

It's just an occasional bug. Whenever it happens, I don't even try to keep writing because I know it will bug me later. I just go back to home MAG and try again. It usually works the next time.
