This doesn't have a thing to do with the editor, but I think this is the forum I should post the idea to. It's not really a suggestion on features, more on layout. 

On the homepage, the first thing you see is "Top 5 Storygames for new users," and "Top 5 advanced Storygames." How about instead you have "Top 5 All time" and "Top 5 Recent"? That way new games can get their chance to shine without getting overshadowed with the older, well established ones! Besides, I think a newbie could play a game from Advanced just as much as the others. Except for ''A Game of Life and Death'', that little gem was haaard.

xD But it has two walkthroughs! 

Walkthroughs are the devil's work! Even if I use them. Always. Because thinking is hard. 

New users = basic editor, advanced games = advanced editor.

It's just a legacy feature from back when people were reluctant to use the advanced editor. Now we just by default tell people to use it, even if it's a basic game.

It think a top 5 story-driven and top 5 game-driven storygame categories would be cooler to have.

But that has the same problem as the current layout. After a while, the top 5 of each category stays the same cus that's the first thing people play, leaving the really good new games buried under piles and piles of WC fan-fic. (not saying all WC is bad, but majority rules.)
