I thought it would be cool if a person has been on the site for a number of years they would get a trophy. Now the catch would be they would have to be doing something during that time (making storygames, participating on the forums, etc.). If they go for long periods of inactivity, maybe a month or two, they would have to wait longer. Once the user reaches the required amount of time they can let the mod's know and the mod's would give the user the trophy if they felt the user has earned it.

people get personal trophies and contributor trophies. no need for a seniority trophy.

There's a guy called Kumquat that's been on here for years that just comes in to log his daily point, I don't think he should get a senior trophy just for that.

That's why I feel it should  be up to the Mod's as opposed to be given out automatically

I'm pretty sure he's using a script or something, or that shows serious dedication. But I agree that this trophy idea wouldn't add much to the site that can't already be recognised through other trophies.

I mean if we did have a seniority trophy, I’d say the person would have to be active here for at least 10 years before getting it.

If this was to be implemented I’d say put it off until around June since this wouldn’t be a that big of a priority until then.

Eh, but what have those members that have their ten-year anniversary in June really done for the site to deserve the creation of yet another trophy? :P

Yeah. Whatever trophies/stuff they have should show their worth and contributions. Not seniority. And older members are generally well-respected anyway.

 

I feel the Site Contributor Trophy fills this niche nicely already, but I'm never opposed to more trophies haha!
