Hey,

This may be a bit of coding that no one wants to do, ever, but I'll ask anyway.

I think it's difficult to navigate the forums for threads you were following. Granted, there's a thing in My Stuff you can set, but it is still confusing. Is there any reasonably simple way to add little icons like PhP boards that denote "New posts," "Old posts," "Watched posts," etc?

As it is now, they are all just sort of there. Without searching about or blindly surfing I sometimes can't even find threads I vaguely remember participating in. Is anyone else having this problem?

Anyway, this has probably been asked for 80.34923 billion times, but figured I'd ask anyway.

I participate in all of them so its not a problem for me.

I participate in all of them too, but, for instance, I'm trying to find that post you started with star wars vs jbcs vs the tower and I can't. Would be nice to have an icon outside of each forum specifying if there are new posts and then inside little icons that show which are new.

The other problem, I think, is that there are often several threads in which people are discussing the same subject- for instance, you posted that question about "trying to find star wars vs. the tower" on another thread, and I answered it, but for convenience, I'll answer it again instead of referring you to the other thread.  In Parlor Room, JJJ poll-just for fun.

There are lots of other instances where people are talking on one thread and reference something mentioned in another subject.  It makes it hard to remember exactly which thread had which comments.

Exactly. I forgot I posted that question elsewhere and probably will never find it again.

I kind of thought that's what the forum post search was for, so I don't have to remember where things are.
