I think there should be an edit button in the forums. I always make mistakes in my posts, so I think we should have that so we can change posts.

how about, you can edit the "Last posted reply in that thread" so if there are like 50 replies in a thread, you cant go back up to the first one and edit it, or that would just be screwy...

Obviously, you should only be able to edit your own posts, right? Sounds like a good idea to me.

Only if nobody has replied to your post though. If somebody has replied to it, you cannot edit it anymore.

I think if people would look over their words before clicking "Post Message", Mr. Sith Lord's problem would not exist.

that is why i would only like to have the most recent post, someone could change what they said, but anyways, why not just have a page to "preview post" after pressing the post button.

Preview post is pointless. I think you should just be able to edit your post if it is the last in the thread at the time.

Actually when using HTML (basic text editor) preview post is essential. But Edit Post is what I want.

I don't think a preview or edit feature is necessary. My posts are also riddled with errors before I read them over and look for them. There are just so many better features the site could have. (I'm not saying the website isn't great already, but there is always room for a little technical improvement, of course.)
