I've realized that chapters have no effect on the finished game and only do anything in the process of editing. I would like to have a "show chapters" option available, where it becomes visible to players when they go from chapter to chapter.

Depending on how you want it to show up, you can do this manually by writing it in to the pages (as in, you could have the first page of every chapter say: "CHAPTER 1" and then write stuff. You could even just make a page called Chapter 1 so that it appeared in the title.

Most people don't use it in the sense of actual chapters, and just use it for organizational purposes. But it would be interesting to see a story that broke it up into chapters, so it'd be cool if you made one like that.

Put the chapter in the page title. If you learn scripting, you can have it do it automatically.
