I'm actually thinking of using myadventuregame.com in the classroom - Kids'd love making a complicated choose your own adventure game. I tried it once using index cards, but it got too complicated. This way the kids could write a story and have it published in no time at all. Well done MAG.

That's a fantastic idea. A Lot of teachers have reported success using CYOA games to get kids to write.

Feel free to offer suggestions that would help educators out. This is something that we've been wanting to do -- make this software avaiable to educatiors as a teaching aide.

Alright, make sure you have them have appropiate things.  I just got an idea for teachers and how they could have a special feature.  Going to be in FWW.

WEll this is a fairly long term thing to do ... so it may not be appropriate for FWW. Our idea is basically to strip down the MAG and create a new site, with the same software.

Actually it gives the a person full access to create more members known as sub-members and then control the features that member has.  Like mabey they can't do duels or they don't have access to the forums.

I can't.   MAG is filtered in IPS Online.

They could but only for use outside of the classroom.

What an educator would appreciate is having the forums disabled, and a class login that they could get from you in advance. If the kids wanted to create another account at home, fair enough, but teachers WOULD supervise what was being entered in the classroom. Before any game could be published, it should have to be proofread by a teacher who then enters a code (provided by you)

If you want any more help with this GREAT idea, then let me know (I'll even test your ideas out in the classroom)

What about MAG points and duels?  Also, it might be wise to have a way for them to contact us if they need help with anything.  Mabey one forum.  The Game Workshop forum I quess.  I would also say that there needs to be a way to contain the Who's Online bar down to mabey Classroom A (26)
