I made like a million storygames already and published NONE of them because I keep dropping the idea! How do I motivate myself to keep going?! Whatever I do, it never works for long.

What do you mean, "I keep dropping the idea"?

Also, while you're answering that ... :P why do you write? What is it that you get out of it? Are your stories about subjects you really care about? Are you tracking your progress? Do you have an outline, set goals for each day, anything to help yourself figure out where you're going and how far you have to go to get there?

Write a short story, just 30 or 40 pages long as a starting point so you can get into the habit of finishing stories, then you can build it up into something longer. One of my stories is about 30 pages long and was written in a few hours (land of bad writing) so it's quite easy to do, the more time you take on a story though the better it will be :)

Many writers have a similar problem: avoiding the end. Sometimes it is because they are too attached to the story. Sometimes it is because they are afraid of what others will say about the story because it is too personal. My suggestion is to just put one out there and see what happens. Nothing you write, ever, will be loved by everyone, so be prepared for people to hate it. At the same time, unless it is total crap, there are going to be some people who really do like it.

What I mean by " dropping the idea " is just abandoning the story after working on it for a while.

Thanks for your advice everybody! :)

What I did for my first game was just realize that my first try won't be my magnum-opus and just barrel through even if it didn't end as great as I wanted it to.

You did a pretty damn good job for a first, though, just saying.

Pretty sure you mean "I've STARTED" all those storygames.

You lack discipline!

No seriously, that's really all it is. Either your ideas are half baked and you keep realizing it after you write some of it, or you can't keep yourself on track to finish one.

Make yourself a (realistic) goal date to finish one and plan a reward. Make a writing workshop thread to keep you on track and accountable. Do those and you shop be able to finish one.
