I've looked at a couple of profiles down on the 'Who Is Online' list and many have just signed up recently. I'm guilty as charged having joined less than a month ago, but I was curious; is there a specific reason why so many new members are joining?

Well think about the reasons why you joined the site and multiply it a few times :)

Wellll, turns out I'm bipolar. Fortunately, I live in a good area for mental/behavioral health services. So, yeah, doing really well, actually. ^_^

The way you worded that statement is strangely euphemistic. You didn't get committed, did you? I mean, I won't hold it against you if you did; judges have no sense of humor. :(

I've been doing well, mostly. Preparing for finals.

It seems to happen like that, near holidays we get small waves of new members etc.
