Hi, 

Inspired by the CYOA books and this page I chose to implement something similar but yet different. I wanted to create a platform, that allows people to collaboratively writing a story. I.e.: Someone can start a story and everybody is allowed to add new decisions and pages.

I'll give it a look later and maybe scribble something up, but 'anyone can add to it' isn't really a new concept, it's traditionally how CYOAs on the internet have worked even if it's not how CYS does it.

Someone should set up a community(ish) made storygame site but you have to answer a multiple choice questionaire to see if you're atleast a decent writer to participate.

Better yet, have it divided into different skill sets so people can make storygames in groups with people at their own writing level.

Well.. I already implemented a rating system for choices users added. Thumbs up or thumbs down. If a certain number of thumbs down are reached, the choice is hidden. So that helps to keep the story's quality high(er).

BUT it'd be easy to give users a rating based on the thumbs they received. Creators of stories could then choose who can participate in writing their story.

If they give everyone a chance they might end up with a bumpy story, if they only let 5-star users participate, there won't be many contributions. So it'd be their choice.

It was smart to make it so that your birthday on your new account would be the day after you made it. Your exp would've most likely stayed on fifteen if that wasn't the case.

the only problem is you can't delete choices/links to other pages, that is a very big issue,,,

I agree. I didn't want to add a delete feature. It's destined to piss off people when they see that there is a new page and they come up with a cool idea to continue the story. As soon as they finish writing they discover that the page has been deleted. Yippy...

 I urge you to think long and hard before creating a choice&page ;)
