Note:
This feature was originally accepted on May 10 2006 11:02PM, but was subsequently demoted to "New" in The Feature Wishing Well Clean-out.

The acceptance comments were will do.

first, the AE rocks. lol however, something that i think should be added for convenience is this...

on the Chapters link, it shows all the pages within that certain chapter. it also shows the first line or two on that particular page, along with an option to edit or delete that particular page.

i suggest adding little icons near the delete and edit button that show whether restrictions, variables or items have been modified for that particular page. this will allow the author to see, with just a quick glance, whether or not they have modified anything for that page.

argument for implementation: in my game every page has a list of variables that are modified. if this was implemented then i wouldnt have to open every page to make sure i modified the variables. i could just see from the Chapters page whether or not they were.

think about this one alex please lol

This would be good for regular advanced storygames, but for storygames involving scripting this would be a waste of space (that could be used for seeing more page text in the preview box for example) as variable changes in stories with scripting enabled tend to be implemented via script rather than the editor itself.

I'm indifferent. Because I do all my variable changes with scripting I obviously don't want this, but I can see how it could be useful to other people.

I wouldn't personally use this as I do most (or all) of my variable manipulation through link scripts.

I'm neutral, while it might add something for some people, it wouldn't do much for those that use scripting like October pointed out.
