I'm bored and I've got a bit of time on my hands, would anyone like to participate in a mini contest? It would span 2 to 3 days and be a normal short story, having a maximum of 2,000 words. Any amount of people are allowed to join and it's simply for shits and giggles. I can have someone pick a prompt once I see how many people are interested. :) With all the pressure of tournaments and gambling, I thought a little challenge would be nice.

This is absolutely an impulse decision do not let me get out of this.

I might actually jump in here if this coincided with a day off, I've got an arbitrary word count goal for this last week of the month and could make this a part of it.
