can I use simple HTML commands in the editor?

yes, simple being the keyword. dont try adding in music or videos, frames, iframes etc. just use bold, italic, linebreak etc.

If you have the RICH TEXT EDITOR enabled, then you can use the bold, italics, etc buttons. However, HTML will not work.

If you do not have the RTE enabled, then you can enter the HTML in text boxes.
